Syngonium is a versatile, easy-care houseplant perfect for beginners and collectors alike. It's known for its distinctive arrow-shaped leaves, vibrant colour varieties, and fast growth.

Light: Bright, indirect light is best, tolerates low light conditions, but loses variegation if any, avoid direct sun. Water: Water when the topsoil (1-2 inches) has dried out. Do not let is sit in water. Humidity: Loves high humidity 50-60% but adapts to average levels. Soil: Use a chunky, well-draining mix (potting soil + perlite + orchid bark or coco coir). Temperature: Prefers, not a must 18-29 degrees, kept away from cold drafts. Fertiliser: Feed monthly during Spring and Summer with diluted Powerfeed from Bunnings. Toxicity: Toxic to pets and humans – sap contain calcium oxalate crystals.

Additional Tips

Trim back vines regularly to encourage a fuller growth. To achieve the matured form of the Syngonium grow the vines on a moss pole, larger leaves will develop. Syngoniums are very easy to propagate in water or soil via stem cutting, below a node.
