Temperature - Prefers a tropical climate ideal temperatures between 21-32 degrees.
Preferred Soil Type - Rich, loamy, moisture-retentive soil, such as Searls Cymbidium and Bromeliad Mix.
Fertilisation - Colcoasias are heavy feeders, therefore, fertilise every 2-3 weeks during the growing months with Powerfeed liquid fertiliser.
Propagation - Divide the corms or tubers in Spring, ensure Stolons are trimmed to aviod spreading.
