Leaves: Typically, heart-shaped, thick, and somewhat leathery or velvety with unique silver, grey, or cream variegation. Light: Bright, indirect light. Can tolerate lower light, but variegation may fade. Water: Let the top inch or two of soil dry out before watering. Avoid soggy soil. Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity but adapts to average indoor levels. Toxicity: Toxic to pets and humans if ingested (contains calcium oxalate).
