FNQ Tropical Pants

"Our Nursery and Shipping Preparation Policy"

At FNQ Tropical Plants, our plants are grown outdoors in natural conditions.

As a result, some imperfections may be present—this is completely normal and part of the beauty of plants grown in the elements. Key Points:

  • Our plants are not mass-produced in controlled environments; they are nurtured naturally.

  • Minor imperfections such as, leaf marks or slight variations are to be expected.

  • These variations do not affect the health or quality of the plant.

Please note: Some plants listed as available stock may have been in the shop for several months. During this time, natural changes can occur—plants may grow, change shape, or develop new characteristics. As a result, the plant you receive might look slightly different from the original photos. This is a normal part of their growth and development.

  • While in stock, some leaves may naturally mature or brown over time. Before shipping, any unsightly or aged leaves will be removed to ensure the plant looks its best. Only plants that present beautifully and meet our quality standards will be shipped.

  • The final decision rests with me when preparing your order, as I thoroughly inspect each item to determine if it meets our standards.

  • If an item is not suitable for shipping, you will automatically receive an email and a refund will be issued.

  • If a better replacement is available, the plant will be swapped, and you’ll find a sticker on the pot that reads: "Swapped for a Better One in Stock" 🌱

Thank you once again for stopping by, and supporting this small business. Happy Planting and Gardening.

FNQ Tropical plants

Location

FNQ (Far North Queensland) Tropical Plants is located in the tropical state of Queensland, Australia, within the vibrant city of Cairns. Cairns is a popular tourist destination for international visitors, renowned for its pristine rainforests teeming with diverse flora and fauna, untouched beaches, excellent fishing spots, and proximity to one of the Great Wonders of the World.

While most of Australia experiences four distinct seasons, Cairns’ tropical climate is defined by just two: the Wet and Dry seasons. This equatorial climate creates ideal conditions for the growth of a wide variety of tropical plant species. Summers are humid, and winters are mild, with longer daylight hours compared to other Australian states.

It’s no surprise that so many people choose to visit—and even relocate to—Far North Queensland. The attached photo showcases one of FNQ’s breathtaking natural treasures: Josephine Falls, near Babinda.
